I met Birthlight Yoga during my first pregnancy. Soon after the birth of my son I was pregnant again and I remember one of my first thought was yes I’m going to attend more birthlight pregnancy yoga classes! And so I did. I was joining, from 20 weeks, 2 different classes a week, and I did the birth preparation workshop and reading and searching about pregnancy. I was so inspired by the ethos of Birthlight that I decided to deepen my practice and my knowledge doing the teacher training course with Birthlight towards the end of my second pregnancy. Birthlight helped me enjoy my pregnancy fully and to “keep in touch ” with my whole persona to be able to make my own choices during pregnancy, labour and birth therefor to be free as a woman in one of the most powerful time of life.
I had the opportunity and pleasure to do part of my coursework in a village in Pakistan where helping pregnant women was a gift for both myself and them.
I believe all women to be free to live their pregnancy in joy, health, love and peace supported by the community where they live in. Birhlight helps to do so enormously!
I’m also a Steiner teacher and in the past I have been teaching yoga in London where I also trained in Aerial Circus and Theatre.
I have a deep passion for the study of human being and I enjoy walking in nature, reading, travelling…and being a mother!
