Singing babies DVD

Singing babies is a compilation of our favourite songs from Birthlight baby classes. Sally Lomas, Birthlight’s director of training, takes a class through some of the gentle baby exercises showing carefully how to perform the movements and explaining their benefits.

Dr Françoise Freedman, the founder of Birthlight developed this original approach after spending time as an anthropologist in the Amazon. The video shows the delight of the babies as they recognise each song and the mutual enjoyment of both parent and baby in the shared fun of movement together.

The rhythmic exercises stimulate the babies physical systems helping to develop strength and co-ordination. This activity will help establish regular feeding and sleeping patterns.

All the senses are activated enhancing communication and bonding between parent and baby.
